About Us

Our 58 acre farm is in Goshen, Virginia about 25 miles from Lexington and about 25 miles from Staunton. We raise only Babydoll sheep, and most of them are white although we occasionally have black lambs.

We purchased our first babydolls in 2000. Our flock is registered with the original Mock registry and we take great care to breed to the standard.

Babydoll wool is easy to spin and makes soft lofty yarn. It combines well with other fibers and I have had fun experimenting with different blends. I have blended my Babydoll fleeces with mohair and fleeces from different sheep breeds. I currently have two large pet Romney wethers and I usually blend their fleeces with the Babydolls. It makes beautiful soft wool!

My flock of babydoll sheep lives in memory of my mother.

My Mom always asked me to get babydoll sheep for our farm but sadly I was unable to find a lamb before she passed away. In the time that has passed I have been able to put together a small flock in her memory and I think of her whenever I am loving and caring for “our flock”.
